All About Ricky Khamis
Ricky Khamis was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After four years with the 82nd Airborne Division, stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina, I wanted to make Arizona my home, start a family and a career in the business world.
He joined Bally's Total Fitness initially as a Fitness Instructor. He was promoted to General Manager due to his business acumen and commitment to success. In his first year as a General Manager he earned General Manager of the month in 10 out of the 12 months and consistently ranked in the top 5% corporate wide.
After 5 years with Bally Total Fitness it was time for Ricky to move on to something with higher return that is more fulfilling, hence the Mortgage Industry. He entered the Mortgage Business and very quickly adapted to the ever changing market conditions that the Mortgage Business thrived on. He was educated on all aspects of the mortgage business including lending in other countries, commercial loans, hard money loans etc..
For four years he worked for American Discount Mortgage and claimed the Top Producing position every single year. After learning the ins and outs of running a Mortgage Practice it was time for him to open his own office, in which he did so with Great Southwest Mortgage. While at Great Southwest Mortgage, running a Net Branch with over a dozen Loan Officers and a full staff of support, he still produced at the highest levels earning a spot as Platinum Producer which a total of 20 in the company achieved. He has earned his CMPS designation or Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, which consists of 40 hours of continuing education each year to stay in tune with the changes in Federal Law, State Law, Taxation and Financial Planning. He has obtained his Life and Health Insurance License in order to better understand his client's needs for Financial Planning.
On August 16th 2007 First Magnus, DBA Great Southwest Mortgage announced that it was closing its doors and filing for Bankruptcy. This was a catastrophic event for him and his employees causing him to have to close his doors with Great Southwest Mortgage for good. Ricky has and always will land on his feet, he is currently at On Q Financial where he now flourishes.

Ricky and DeShawn are married and together they have 5 children. She came to the marriage with two children Jalen who is now 13 and a star athlete in baseball and Aryana who is 10 and very active in competition level Cheer. He came to the marriage with Austin who is a Black Belt in Kenpo karate with numerous 1st place trophies from competitions around the country.
Ricky and DeShawn then had 2 boys of their own, Drake who is 4 and Kaden who is 3. They are now following in their older brother Austin's footsteps on their way to their Black Belt. Ricky's family is clearly his life, everything he does, every step he takes, every conversation he has is with his family ultimate goal in mind, pure freedom.
